For 17 years Heather Youmans has worked professionally in musical theatre, TV/film, voiceover, and contemporary music. Regional theatre: HAIR (Lily Tomlin/Jane Wagner Cultural Arts Center), Evita (Norris Theatre, PVPA w/ dir. Richard Israel), Annie Get Your Gun/The Sound of Music/The Music Man (Welk Resort); Annie (McCoy Rigby w/ dir. Glenn Casale); 42nd Street (Moonlight Amphitheater); To Kill A Mockingbird (West Coast Ensemble), Tight Quarters (Whitefire Theatre), Jason Robert Brown in Concert (Barn Stage Company/MD Gerald Sternbach, dir. J Scott Lapp), Footloose (dir. Mark Scott). She also originated the role of Shana the Rock Star in Teen Witch the Musical, based on the 1980s cult classic film. Youmans resides in LA and works extensively in the music industry as a performer/session singer, having appeared on American Idol S11 and as a soloist opening for Sting and the late Natalie Cole. She has written/recorded original music played on Top40 radio stations and in major motion pictures, including Flicka 2 (alongside country music icon Clint Black), Marley and Me 2: The Puppy Years and High Strung, which premiered at TCL Chinese Theatre. Heather played the Tap Dancer on FOX's new show "I Can See Your Voice" in fall 2020 and shared her two loves - singing and tapping - on national TV.
